I joined the Personal Genome Project in its early stages, when I first heard about it. Having done research on DNA structure and DNA-protein interactions, I was interested in the possibility of analyzing my own genome to see what I could find out about myself. Since I live a long way from Harvard, though, and have not been able to make it to any of the blood collection events in other places, I don't know if that's going to happen. I'm going to try getting an analysis from "23andMe" to see what I can do with that, and I hope I can learn more from participation in "Open Humans" about what kinds of useful analyses can be done on my genome and those of others.
